Rythme en Trois
This trilogy is my tribute to Moroccan Gnaoua culture.
Painted in thick impasto using only a palette knife, each piece carries strong textured strokes and bold gestures that echo the intensity of trance and sound. You can almost feel the vibration in the paint itself.
The guembri at the center grounds the composition, while the qraqeb on each side create a visual rhythm, like a heartbeat surrounding it. Together, the three canvases speak to one another , raw, powerful, and spiritual.
